Potteries
Since the end of the 17th century, the tradition of pots in Pórtol began, with the period of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries being the period of maximum expansion. With the white clay, extracted from the Pou del Coll and the red ground of the Caves of Can Guidet, all the utensils were manufactured to cook and preserve food.
Can Bernardí
Since the eighteenth century, through more than eight generations, they have been perfecting the techniques to create their products even if they keep a centenarian Arabian. Its scope of action is the craft fairs that are held in Mallorca.

Can Vent
Houses dated from 1882 and a chapel dedicated to the Holy Trinity (1899). There is a Moorish oven in the first crust, with stone and mud walls and a slab portal where the fire is called “ashtray” and communicates with the outside of the oven where the central fumer is; This access is used to access the cover and to extract a piece called “sample” to find out if the bakery is ready. There were also the rooms that served as dryers, where the pieces of pottery dried by evaporation.

Can Madó Bet
The most ancient Siurelleria of sa Cabaneta where Isabel Amengual, or better known as Madò Bet, sculpted the most characteristic figures in the different classical forms: the knight, the lady, the lord and the demon.

ABELLÓ (Store and workshop separated)
Its ceramics are handmade and are the only women in the area. They keep an Arab oven. The store is in a house of more than one hundred years and until recently it is dedicated to the elaboration of sweet and spicy red pepper for slaughter of the pork and it was also used as a warehouse of almonds and garlands.

Cas Canonge
Cas Canonge Pottery, is one of the youngest Pottery shops in Pòrtol. It was born in 1981. The brothers Bartomeu and Bernat Amengual Reynés (master craftsman oller and master craftsman escudelle), founders of the company, are descendants of several generations of clay craftsmen, such as his father Bernat Amengual Serra.

Sa Roca Llisa Pottery is a family business of five generations ago and that its current enclave was built in 1925. Beside the lookout was the house of the lookouts, but now it was used as a store. CAN PERE COLL
The Pere Coll’s pottery opened on March 4, 1996. He collaborated with the artist Miguel Barceló and Josef Nadi, with whom he has traveled with the work “Pasodoble” in different cities around the world such as New York, London , Madrid or Barcelona. Also with “Pasodoble” he participated in a documentary by the filmmaker Isaki Lacuesta.
